I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and have provided counseling and human services in the Seattle area since 1997.
My therapeutic approach is suited to the individual and family and includes play therapy, expressive arts, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
I focus on the unique strengths, perspectives, goals, and cultures of my clients. I believe that you are the expert on your life and I work collaboratively to measure progress and offer insight along the way. My style is warmly direct, playful, and accepting.
I have counseled diverse youth, adults, and families in educational, medical, and community mental health settings, such as Central Youth and Family Services, Children's Hospital, Youth Eastside Services, Cancer Lifeline, The Gathering Place, and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center/SCCA. I am a member of both the Washington State Society for Clinical Social Work and the Association for Play Therapy.
